Logo for University Pharmacy. Letters A (for Apteka - means pharmacy in polish) and U (for University) creates an icon of a pill. The cross in upper right means medical connection of the icon but also express high quality of service by association with letter A. In result: A plus.

A simple logo from clear message. An ice cream cone formed by the play button and a reel. Used primarily for agencies working in the cinema. Easily reproducible and scalable without losing the detail.

When I was asked to create a logo for a fashion blog and I heard its name, I was excited to begin working on some drawings. After twisting, placing and stretching some hangers I started to draw out shapes and fell, dare I say it, 'lucky', on the perfect idea. The necks of the hangers form the love heart, and it almost creates a star-like shape.

For a Marketing/PR Company. The concept behind the mark is based on the age-old alchemic practice of attempting to artificially mass produce gold by way of fusion/synthesis with other elements. Since gold has only one stable isotope (the element Au) a massive chemical reaction would need to occur to generate this isotope. There is only x3 active protons difference between Lead & Gold. They're 'chemically' different...reaction to solvents, melting temp, etc...but, if you were to extract those x3 protons from lead theoretically, you would have gold. Things like American Idol employ this 'extraction' tactic...slowly removing the unnecessary protons (contestants) till they have their 'golden result' - a season winner.

The logo is an emblem of my three distinct cultural identities as a graphic designer: the head of a Chinese dragon, the body of an English lion and the tail of a Portuguese rooster. Born in a Portuguese colony in China where east meets west, I grew up in a richly diverse cultural background and have now lived in the English capital for more than ten years.
